Search Console reports are not always refreshed at the same time. That can produce an apparently contradictory situation where the Page Indexing report shows “Crawled – currently not indexed” while URL Inspection says the exact page is indexed.
Check the live URL before making changes
Use URL Inspection for the specific canonical URL. Confirm the inspected URL, the Google-selected canonical, crawl status and whether the page is currently eligible to appear in Search.
Why the reports can disagree
Aggregate indexing reports are designed to summarize groups of URLs and can lag behind URL-level information. A recently indexed page may therefore remain inside an older report bucket for a period of time.
Do not keep resubmitting the same URL
Repeatedly requesting indexing is not a substitute for solving crawl, quality, duplication or canonicalization problems. If the live inspection is positive, monitor instead of repeatedly changing the page.
What to record
Keep the inspected URL, canonical, last crawl date, sitemap status and internal-link source. That gives you enough evidence to distinguish a reporting delay from a real indexing problem.
